The Freelance Ops Kit
Contracts that protect your work, a pricing engine that sells on value, and a client system that gets you paid on time. Fourteen ready-to-brand files for freelancers and small agencies, in five country editions: US, UK, Australia, Canada and International.
L1 · The Legal Shield
A Master Agreement signed once per client, a Statement of Work per project, and a Change Order for every extra request.
Annotated Edition + Scripts
Every clause rated Hold firm, Negotiable or Standard, plus twelve scripts for the objections clients raise.
L2 · Pricing & Budget Engine
One spreadsheet for Google Sheets or Excel. Set your rate floor, price three tiers with an ROI case, and see your margin before the proposal goes out.
On screen: the Dashboard tab of the kit's spreadsheet, filled with example data.
L3 · Client Ops Playbook
Pick a row in the spreadsheet and get a client-ready invoice to save as PDF. Send it from your own email, and use the three reminder templates when payment runs late.
On screen: what your client receives. The kit is templates you send yourself. It is not an app and does not collect payments.
Freelancer or Agency license
One payment, every file, free updates within version 1.
Why freelancers choose it
US, UK, Australia, Canada and International. Each has its own governing law, currency, tax wording and spelling.
The Annotated Edition rates each clause Hold firm, Negotiable or Standard, with a plain-English note.
A deposit before work starts, milestone invoices, and three collection emails for when payment runs late.
White-label from the first page. Your clients only ever see your name and logo.
If a file is damaged or will not open, we send a working copy or refund you.
Two questions
Every license includes all five, so you never pick wrong. This tells you which one to open first.
Your client is in the United States, so use U.S. law. The US Edition covers W-8BEN for freelancers outside the U.S. and ACH payments in USD.
See the US EditionFive editions, one license
Same 14 files in each edition. What changes is the law, the money and the details local clients expect to see.
Clients in the United States

You or your client are in Australia

Ireland, New Zealand, the EU and everywhere else
Each edition has its own worked example, Start Here page and playbook steps for getting paid in that country. Templates, not legal advice.
The problem
"Just one more page" turns a fixed price into weeks of unpaid work, because nothing says where the project ends.
Thirty days quietly becomes sixty. You chase invoices instead of doing the work you are good at.
A client cancels after kickoff. The weeks you reserved, and the deposit you never asked for, are gone.
The kit closes each gap with a document, a number and a script.
Made for your work
Brand identities and websites with counted revision rounds, previews before payment, and source files on the final invoice.
Staging links instead of code, milestone billing on long builds, and repository access after the last payment.
Per-piece or monthly pricing, consolidated feedback, and rights that transfer when the invoice is paid.
Monthly retainers with included capacity, rollover rules and pre-approved overage.
Three-tier proposals with an ROI case, so clients compare outcomes instead of your hourly rate.
A Subcontractor Agreement for your network and an Agency License for up to 10 people.
What's inside
Every file shares the same fields, so you fill in your details once and every document matches.
Contracts that protect your work and your cash flow.
Price on value, protect your margin, and see who owes you money.
The exact system from signed contract to final payment.
A fictional studio wins and runs a 12,000 project, in every edition's currency. Every core document and the workbook, filled in.

How it works
Unzip the kit and open the page that helps you choose: US, UK, Australia, Canada or International.
Enter your deposit, payment terms, currency and tax details once in Settings.
Drop in your logo and replace the shared fields with Find & Replace.
Price three tiers, send the proposal and the Agreement, and collect the deposit.
Do the math
The average US lawyer bills USD 349 an hour.* The full kit costs less than half of that and covers every client, every project, in five countries.
* Clio, Legal Trends, 2025 US average hourly rate. The kit is templates, not legal advice. For high-stakes deals, a lawyer is still worth it.
Pricing
Both licenses include the same 14 files in all five country editions, each with its own worked example. The difference is how many people can use them.

Questions
Still unsure? Write to support@apexopskit.com and we'll answer within 2 business days.
The kit has editions for the United States, the United Kingdom (England and Wales), Australia and Canada (outside Quebec), plus an International Edition for everywhere else, where you choose the governing law. All five are included with every license, so you can use the one that matches each client.
Use the edition for the law your contract will follow, which is usually the country where your client is based. If you and your client are in different countries and agree on a neutral law, use the International Edition. The quiz above gives you an answer in two clicks.
No. Apex Ops is not a law firm, and the kit is not legal advice. The templates are written by Apex Ops from standard commercial contract structures in each country, and they are not tailored to your situation. Buying them does not create a lawyer-client relationship. For large or unusual projects, have a local lawyer check your documents.
No. The kit is a download of editable files: Word and Google Docs documents, a spreadsheet for Google Sheets and Excel, and PDFs. There is nothing to install and no subscription. You send proposals, contracts, invoices and emails yourself, and your clients pay you directly through your own bank or payment provider.
No. Every file opens in Google Docs and Google Sheets with the formulas intact. Word and Excel work too.
The files are identical. The Freelancer License covers one person. The Agency License covers one business with up to 10 people, including regular subcontractors. You can upgrade later by paying the difference.
Checkout is in USD for everyone, and your bank or card converts it automatically. VAT, GST or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Right after payment you get a download link on screen and by email. It is a single ZIP with a page that helps you choose your edition, five edition folders and the fonts.
Because the files are delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds if you change your mind. If a file is damaged, you were charged twice, or your download did not arrive, we fix it or refund you. This does not affect your rights under the consumer law of your country. Details are in the Refund Policy.
